Stephanie is a Marriage & Family Therapist Associate who earned her master’s after nearly a decade of service to individuals, children, and families in a variety of roles, from Doula to Family Support Specialist. Walking with families through loss and life hardship imparted on Stephanie a deep care and understanding for those recovering from developmental and complex trauma, who are seeking a brighter life forward, not only for themselves but for their children.
Stephanie believes that by nurturing and healing the individual, families will thrive, and that when families thrive, the entire world benefits.
Stephanie understands that deep healing involves addressing mind, body, and soul. Through an integrative approach to therapy, she utilizes Attachment-based models, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, and Mindfulness-based interventions to tailor therapy to the individual. Stephanie has particular interest and experience with supporting individuals in the processing of their developmental trauma, as well as in supporting individuals and families through the perinatal period, first five years of parenting, and in navigating restoration in parent/adult-child relationships.
Outside of therapy, Stephanie loves reading, adventures with her family, yoga, novelty, and connecting with others.

Hello, and welcome. My name is Hoda. I completed my M.S. degree in Couples and Family Therapy from the University of Oregon in 2018. Life may feel overwhelming, confusing, stuck, and/or challenging at times. My aim is to provide a collaborative, supportive, and judgement-free environment where you can learn more about yourself and feel accepted and supported throughout your therapeutic journey. My goal is to create a space for you where healing and growth can be cultivated. I believe in exploring your unique stories, life experiences, strengths, and transitions. While we may talk about difficult things, I also aspire to bring patience, empathy, a sense of humor, warmth, and care into our sessions.
I enjoy working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including BIPOC, bicultural, multicultural, and immigrant communities. I am dedicated to helping you find your unique expression by exploring your cultural identity and celebrating the intersectionality of identities you hold.
I utilize a variety of clinical approaches in sessions, and tailor these to each client’s needs, goals, and preferences. I often incorporate the following therapeutic modalities: Collaborative Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Attachment Therapy, Mindfulness Techniques, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

I am passionate about providing a warm, welcoming and safe therapeutic space. If you’re struggling with difficult feelings from trauma, grief, depression and anxiety, or having issues communicating in your relationships, it would be a privilege to work with you. My goal is to help you grow in your understanding of yourself and support you in making the changes necessary for improving your mental health.
My therapeutic approach is always rooted in unconditional positive regard and empathy. With strategies tailored to each individual’s needs, I utilize relational, cognitive-behavioral therapy, cross-cultural, existential, solution-focused, and systems theory methods. Also, I draw on research from the field of neuroscience to help you understand your own thinking.
I have experience working in multicultural, emergency services, and educational settings, which has shaped my ability to think creatively and help others develop tools for approaching old problems in new ways.
I welcome the opportunity to work with: individuals (16 years+), couples, parents and families, all in various stages of life, and from diverse backgrounds. If you are seeking a compassionate therapist with the depth and breadth of professional and life experience, it is my hope you reach out. I look forward to meeting you!

and receiving a medical diagnosis to name a few
I have a unique approach to therapy that blends my training in the psychoanalytic/psychodynamic traditions with relational, existential, contemplative/mindfulness, and family systems modalities. I have experience with
interventions from other modalities as well such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative therapy, Violet Oaklander’s Play Therapy, Bibliotherapy and Dreamwork.
